Education: Bachelor's degree in Usul Al Deen from Al-Azhar University in 1975
Experience : Appointed as teacher in Al-Azhar on 10/15/1975, then I was appointed at the Rashid Al-Azhari Institute and at the Edfina Al-Azhari Institute in Al-Buhaira Governorate. I then moved to Yemen as a visiting forensic teacher from Al-Azhar between 1982 and 1986. In 1986 I moved back to Alexandria, Egypt, to be appointed as a senior teacher at the Wardian Azharian Institute until 1993. Then, I worked as an agent at Al-Kwairi Institutes (boys and girls) from 1994 until mid-1996. I was also appointed as Dean of the Burj Al Arab Institutes (boys and girls) from: 1/8/1996 until the end of 1997. I worked as a director for Al-Azhar from 1998 until I was invited to be the Imam at the Islamic Center in Puerto Rico in November 1998. In Puerto Rico, I first worked at the Ponsi Islamic Center until 4/30/2005. I then moved to San Juan from: 5/15/2005 until I submitted my resignation on: 3/18/2018. I worked as a teacher and preacher in the mosques of Alexandria under the authority of the Ministry of Endowments of Alexandria during my tenure at Al-Azhar from 1975 until 1998. During my years in Puerto Rico, I took on the responsibility to refute the misconceptions about Islam, especially after the events of September 11. So I published pamphlets (in Arabic, English and Spanish), between 2002 and 2015. So I wrote 12 booklets “Risala”. We also have issued 4 editions of the pamphlets and the collective letters in a booklet in Spanish. Each booklet was published approximately ten thousand copies per year, and was distributed to Islamic centers, schools and universities in Puerto Rico.
